Arsene Wenger has fired a warning at Pep Guardiola regarding Alexis Sanchez as their two sides prepare to meet on Sunday, report football.london.
The Chilean forward has been linked with a move to City for months now and it is assumed he will join Pep Guardiola at the Etihad once his current deal in north London ends in July.
Some had wondered if Arsenal would cash-in and allow Alexis to leave in the middle of the season but Wenger says he does not expect that to happen and that such transfer talk will not distract the player once he steps onto the field.
Although the Premier League leaders may be interested in doing a deal, Wenger believes that his star player is too important to allow him to leave mid-season.
